Update [1.7.0]

Gameplay

This release has quite a big change to damage and game flow. The Style system has been reworked and Specials no longer rely on total hits. As Characters attack, their Style will build and once the Style gauge is full their special attack will be ready to use. After using the special attack, the Style gauge will Rank Up and add an attack multiplier to the character’s attack. A Character can stack the Style multiplier up to seven times.

Items

Some items that interacted with Style have been updated or replaced. Artesian Water and Exotic Artseian Water are now Energy Tonic and Energy Tonic A1, respectively. All users inventories have had the old items exchanged for the new ones.

Update [1.6.3]

Version 1.6.3This release fixes a few things adds a couple new features, including variable height jumping and the Dark Zone Gateway.

Dark Zone

This Gateway is in early Alpha stages, but it should be able to accommodate up to 20 users at a time. The new room contains stronger than normal Celestians, but always returns rare rewards. Gateways are only open at select times, which will be posted via the official website and social media. Please invite your friends and help us test out this new feature.

Variable Height Jumping

I completely rewrote the jump code so that users can now control the height of their jump depending on how long the button press is held. This makes for better control of your character and improves overall fun factor. A few changes were also made to auto-jump and double jump mechanics.

Extra

Horizontal hitbox sizes have also been greatly reduced to make it easier to avoid getting hit in close quarters. On top of all that, KeRobo has a new upgrade that gets rid of his fear of slopes.

Update [1.6.1]

This update ushers in the Spring Scramble event and also big updates to gameplay balance. Included are changes to Guarding and attack damage formulas.

Spring Scramble

Three new Acolyte Beasts have been introduced. They’re quite similar but each of them grant different battle benefits. Lucky players may receive one or more of these eggs as Battle Rewards during this event, so get crackin’!

Game Mechanic Updates

The player’s Guard previously had a very fast regeneration rate. This offers characters like Luck Monkey a highly offensive role with no real risk of damage. The regeneration rate has been reduced and some Celestians are  capable of dealing more Guard damage. Shield pressure is something players will have to manage more delicately when fighting Celestians.

The damage formula and attack damage totals have been adjusted for each attack in-game. This required a rebalance of Celestian and Beast health totals, lending a better advantage to some previously lackluster player attacks.
